Seeing as my new project (which i havent actually recieved yet!) is about gardens, i decided to go routing round mine with my camera at hand. Im thinking i might make some wrappings from them, which ill most probably post later! Weve just planted some new flowers aswell so its looking nice and summery out there. This is stanley. He is my pet tortoise. Believe it or not, he is rather fast and fond of biting my toes!

This is Pam. She is Stanleys girlfriend.

Iris van Herpen

These are the most amazing collections from dutch designer Iris Van Herpen. Her work reminds me alot of Sandra Backlunds, however she uses really intractly laced leather. Beautiful.

tea time

i really cant remeber where i found this image :S but its the cutest tea pot ever! Im thinking i might re-create a teddy bears picnic for my *garden* proj.

missoni home

I dont know why, (maybe because im really into decorating my own room at the moment) but i cant help but be fascinated by furnishings! I absoloutly love missonis 09 home collection, their colour schemes and prints are stunning! Is it wrong for me to love pillows so much?... my bed is slowly being overtaken by them!

fancy footwork!

These are the rather interesting shoe designs by marloes ten bhomer, shes currently exhibiting at the design museum so i should nip over there! (reminder to myself)
They look rather like leather ribbons!

what a fabulous fence this would make!

'tapumes'
Henrique Oliveira has created these largescale pieces from salvaged wood, collected from the streets of são paulo. I think the colour work is fantastic and the interaction of the wood reminds me alot of weave :)
